Buyer's Guide

What makes the best SEO company: a Colorado buyer's checklist

Every SEO company's website says they're the best. 'Top rated,' 'award winning,' '#1 results.' None of that is verifiable. This checklist is — five things you can check yourself, before you sign anything.

1. They rank for something themselves

An SEO company that can’t rank its own website is like a broke financial advisor. Search their company name, their city plus “SEO,” and a few of their target phrases. If they’re invisible for their own business, nothing they promise you is credible.

2. You own everything they build

The website, the content, the Google Business Profile, the ad accounts — all of it should be in your name, with your logins. Companies that build on their own accounts are building a hostage situation. When you leave, you should keep every asset. Get it in writing.

3. Month-to-month terms

SEO genuinely takes 90–180 days to show results, which is exactly why agencies sell long contracts. But a confident company doesn’t need one. Our work is month to month — if we stop delivering, you stop paying. That’s the arrangement every business owner should demand.

4. Published, specific pricing

“Call for a quote” usually means the price depends on how much they think you can pay. The best companies publish their rates. Ours are on the pricing page: SEO plans from $950 to $2,750 per month, websites from $1,850 to $5,950. You can compare us against anyone before we ever talk.

5. Real local knowledge

Colorado search behavior splits along the Front Range. Denver keywords are crowded with national competitors; markets like Monument, Falcon, Castle Rock, and Pueblo are winnable fast with the right city pages. A company that knows this builds a different plan than one running a national template. We’ve done this from Colorado Springs for 27 years — see our office and Google profile.
